为期一年的选择
The 为期一年的选择 (OYO) allows Ohio Technical Center graduates who complete a 900-hour program of study and obtain an industry-recognized credential approved by the chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) to receive 30 college technical credit hours toward an Associate of Technical Studies (ATS) degree upon enrollment in an Ohio institution of higher education.
There is also a process to award proportional credit toward a technical degree for students who complete a 600- to 899-hour program of study and obtain an industry-recognized credential approved by the chancellor of ODHE.
Note: The ATS degree must have an area of concentration that is equivalent to 30 semester credit hours in technical studies and a clearly identifiable career objective.
The area of concentration can be formed by either:
- Type A: A coherent combination of technical courses selectively drawn from two or more Tri-C technical programs to serve a career objective that would not be adequately addressed by an existing program alone.
- Type B: Courses completed or training received by a student at another institution of higher education, career center or other educational enterprise judged by Tri-C to be of college level and for which Tri-C awards degree credit (applies to ATS degrees awarded by Tri-C via OYO).
